I’ve been building miniature furnishings and structures for thirty years, first in Virginia and now in Maine. Following a career in Life‑Scale furniture restorations I found that Miniatures 
		afforded me the creative freedom I had wanted. While I work primarily in 1/12th scale I find some pieces simply demand their own scale, from 1/144 up to full size.
		     After many years of selling at shows and teaching classes, I have taken a step back to focus on my own creative process. Working from my home studio I currently create a wide variety of miniature objects; from carved wooden furniture, turned vessels and musical instruments to hand-forged fireplace tools and accoutrements.  read more
			 
		  
		
		 
		
		 
		
		     I am happiest working at the edge of my abilities, for it is
			there I find myself to be the most creative. Most of my work is one of a kind: while I might create similar pieces each is individual. I enjoy a challenge and would be happy to discuss individual commissions; I never know what will pique my interest next!
