Beautifully made cherry blanket chest, with working top, drawer and front door comes from an estate in Virginia and is marked "DA 82". (If anyone knows who this is, please let me know so I can add it to my listing.) The top of this blanket chest has a discoloration where something sat on it and the wood faded around it. Perfectly Real and Really Perfect is our motto! I suspect this chest may have been made in a class; the drawer, top, and door all fit nicely and the little "porcelain" bead knobs add charm. The chest has a semi-gloss finish. It is appropriate for Early American or Colonial settings, or any time thereafter.
It measures 2-3/4" tall x 2-5/8" wide x 1-9/16 deep.
